SnowStruck!

This weekend was insane fun. I even almost died! You know that always means there was fun. Or disaster. Whichever. The first big snowstorm of the year hit and we braved it for some illz! There were plenty of people in the ditch and stuck in the snow and even our car got stuck a couple times and we had to push it. We also almost spun out on some ice under a bridge on the highway back into town. This will be my first winter driving and my anxiety the other day was out of control. I'm not excited at all. AHHHHH!

Pixel is my absolute favourite. I couldn't ask for a better cuddle buddy while I paint.

Larry and I planned to cook home made chinese food this weekend and we did exactly that! And oh boy, it did not disappoint. We are amazing. We made lo mein with beefless tips, carrots, onions and bean sprouts and tofu fried rice with veggie egg rolls. It was paradise in my mouth and I ended up eating the majority of it.

After that we got really silly and drank our weight in tea.

This was followed by a competitive game of bust-a-move and solo painting as well as collaborative painting. After all of that we went outside and played in the first snow and made a little alien dude in it with our feet.

I ended up cooking my faux turkey and purple potatoes for us and it all came out heavenly. I also ate a couple spicy boca chicken burgers with falafel. De-fucking-licious.

One of my favourite parts of the weekend was being not at all sober and being convinced I was possessed with the ghost of Laura Palmer. Larry went along with it and pretended to be Bob for a second and freaked me out and then I laughed about it for what seemed like hours afterwards. My skirt was Twin Peaks as fuck too that night, hahaha.

After taking ages in the post my little octi-guy showed up and he's a good addition to have dangling around my neck. This coming week I plan to fill my time with painting and drawing. I've been super inspired and motivated and I'm not going to let the sparkle fade out!
